IV Fluids (BFS Technology)

Fluids are given when someone's body fluid volume falls. There are a number of things which can cause a drop in fluid volume. Vomiting and diarrhea are a classic example, which is why people are encouraged to drink fluids when they are sick, to keep their fluid volume stable. Another cause is blood loss, which causes problems both because people lose blood products, and because they experience a loss in fluid volume. Electrolyte levels in the blood can also become unstable as a result of rapid changes in fluid volume, in which case intravenous fluids can be used to restore the balance. Intravenous fluids are fluids which are intended to be administered to a patient intravenously, directly through the circulatory system. These fluids must be sterile to protect patients from injury, and there are a number of different types available for use. Many companies manufacture packaged intravenous fluids, as well as products which can be mixed with sterile water to prepare a solution for intravenous administration. Intravenous (IV) solutions are fluids which are intended to be administered to a patient directly into the venous circulation. These fluids are sterile fluids which protects patients at the time of serious dehydration. There are various type of IV solutions available for use in the market. Many companies manufacture packaged intravenous fluids or products or compounds which can be mixed with sterile water to prepare a solution for intravenous administration. The market for Intravenous (IV) Solution is expected to reach USD 11,511.2 million by 2022 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.69% during the forecast period 2016-2022. The factors which drive the growth of the market are the rising prevalence of chronic diseases, rising acceptance of vitamin C intravenous treatment therapy to treat colorectal cancer. Thus, due to demand it is best to invest in this project. Few Indian major players are as under Abaris Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. Axa Parenterals Ltd. Infutec Healthcare Ltd. Pectin from Citrus, Lemon and Oranges

Pectin is a naturally occurring substance (a polysaccharide) found in all plant tissue, calcium pectin being present between the cell walls and serving as a strengthening or building agent. Fruits naturally possessing relatively large amount of pectin include lemons, bitter oranges, apples, quinces, currants and plums. Pectins are a class of complex polysaccharides found in the cell walls of higher plants, where they function as a hydrating agent and cementing material for the cellulosic network. They are commonly produced during the initial stages of primary cell wall growth and make about one third of the cell wall of dry substances of dicotyledonous and some monocotyledonous plants. The main exceptions are the cell walls of the Germaine family, which may contain pectin of normal structure but in very small amounts. In recent days, pectin has found increased application as an additive to dairy products. Yogurt containing fruit bases has been growing in popularity. Substituting pectin for modified starch as a thickening agent in yogurts will maintain a uniform distribution of fruit throughout the yogurt without masking delicate fruit flavors. Furthermore unlike starches, pectin will not introduce a floury texture to yogurts. If the fruit bases contain 60% sugar, then HMP can be added. If the sugar content is lower than 60%, then ALMP is added. HMP stabilizes casein against a predation, when heated a pH less than 4.3. Thus it is added as a stabilizer in ultrahigh-temperature-treated yogurt drinks and to milks blended with fruit juices. Although the industry for pectin is rapidly growing driven by rising demand for processed and convenience foods, growing preference towards functional foods from various health conscious consumers have also played a key role in the growth of the market. In addition, the industry has been witnessing demand for low-calorie and low-fat food products from consumers resulting in more demand for pectin from food manufacturers. Based on these factors, pectin is considered as an essential food additive due to which the market is liable to increase significantly. The global pectin market has grown at a CAGR of around 6% during 2008-2015. Market for pectin has been witnessing significant growth on account of rising demand for food products from developed as well as developing economies. The industry has been mature in developed regions such Europe, followed by North America. However, the industry for pectin is anticipated to grow rapidly in emerging economies such as China and India owing to change in lifestyle of the individuals as well as changing consumer preferences for convenience foods. Moreover, economic development in China has resulted in increasing purchase power of consumers, leading to increasing demand for high-quality processed foods. Growing health awareness among consumers for functional foods is expected to be one of the major factors driving the demand for pectin over the forecast period. Moreover, multi-functionality of pectin in various dairy and functional foods is expected to broaden their application scope in the food industry, further leading to the growth of the market. However, unavailability of raw materials to pectin as well as fluctuations in the prices of these raw materials is expected to hamper the growth of the market. Cost of raw materials for manufacturing pectin, which includes citrus peel and apple pomade have increased due to risen processing costs and prices of citrus fruits. Pricing and supply of these fruits are significantly affected by the weather conditions with a citrus disease known as “greening” affecting the industry performance. Entrepreneurs who invest in this project will be successful.

Dehydrated Onion

Onion is one of the most important commercial vegetable crops grown in India. Both immature and mature bulbs are used as vegetable and condiment. It contains vitamin B and a trace of vitamin C and also traces of iron and calcium. The outstanding characteristic of onion is its pungency, which is due to a volatile oil known as allyl-propyl disulphide. Onions compared with other fresh vegetable are relatively high in food energy, intermediate in protein content and rich in calcium and riboflavin. In the food processing field, dehydration is sometimes described as the removal of 85% or more of water from a food substance, by exposure to thermal energy by various means. Thermal dehydration reduces volume of the product, increases shelf-life, and lowers transportation cost. There is no clearly defined line of demarcation between drying and dehydrating, and latter sometimes being considered as a supplement of drying. Usually, the direct use of solar energy, as in the drying of raisin, layette is not lumped with dehydrating. The term dehydration also is not generally applied to situations where there is a loss of water as the result of evaporation. Dehydrated onions are used chiefly as a constituent in various food products i.e. they are sold to manufacturing concerns as an industrial raw material and demand for dehydrated onions is a function of the demand of these food products. However there is a demand for dehydrated onions for use as culinary onions, both by large catering concerns - institutions and industrial canteens; and for domestic use. The other use of dehydrated onions is in the manufacture of dried soups-once virtually the sole outlet for these products, but now declining in relative importance, as other applications including use in canned soups and stews, baby foods, fish, meat and bakery products and more recently in dried `ready-meals' have been developed. So far as possible both merchants and users were consulted in due course. Since there are relatively few dried soup manufacturers, it was possible to contact a majority of the users in this class. Retail outlets obtain supplies largely from food manufacturers. The different market sectors account for varying proportions of demand for dehydrated onions. Dehydrated onion slices and pieces are sold to all four market sectors. The global market for dehydrated onions registered the revenue worth US$ 950 Mn in 2017, which is likely to reach in excess of US$ 1,500 Mn by the end of 2028.Future Market Insights expects the dehydrated onions market to observe stable growth at a promising CAGR of 4.8% over the 10-year assessment period, 2018-2028. India had exported about 50,000 tonnes in 2016 and the industry is expecting to export about 35,000-40,000 tonnes. India is offering dehydrated onions at $1,650 per tonne while China and Egypt offer it in $2,000 a tonne. On the other hand, the country is having about 20,000 tonnes of dehydrated onion carry-forward stock unsold with the producers. Exports begin in January every year and by June end, the country exports almost 85-90 per cent. In India dehydration of many food products especially vegetables and some fruits are in practices at home and industry level throughout year. Thus, due to demand it is best to invest in this project. GI Metal Sheet Products • Octagonal • Square • Rectangle Poles

Utility poles are commonly used to carry two types of electric power lines: distribution lines (or "feeders") and sub transmission lines. Distribution lines carry power from local substations to customers. They generally carry voltages from 4.6 to 33 kilovolts (kV) for distances up to 30 miles, and include transformers to step the voltage down from the primary voltage to the lower secondary voltage used by the customer. A service drop carries this lower voltage to the customer's premises. Global electricity transmission poles market was valued at US$6.386 billion in 2019 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.83% over the forecast period to reach a total market size of US$9.495 billion in 2025. Electricity poles, also called power poles, support wires and electric cables that carry electricity from power companies to end users. Steel Billets and TMT Steel Bars (Rebar) from Scrap Metal

Most of the steel generally in civil and allied work used is the plain carbon and mild steel and the largest portion of carbon steels used, has tensile strengths not greater than 36 to 40 t/in2. The carbon content in the steel predominantly governs the steel properties. 0.40% carbon steel is of great importance due to its being economical to meet general requirement and having reasonably high strength and other properties, like yield point, elongation and reduction percentages etc. Steel products in the forms of strip coils, sheets, plates, wires, rods, bars & sections are mostly used in industrial products. Earlier wires and rods were manufactured by reducing ingots/billets/bars in steel mills by heating and rolling of the stock. But, the modern advancements of technologies have given continuous casting of rods as an economical method. Steel scraps of melting grades are taken as the raw material. Either Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF) or Electric Induction Melting furnaces are commonly used for melting for a pollution-free operation. The long steel market size is estimated to be USD 527.0 billion in 2020 and projected to reach USD 636.7 billion by 2025, at a CAGR of 3.9% from 2020 to 2025. Increasing construction and infrastructure activities, rising population levels, and industrialization are the major factors responsible for the growth of the long steel market. However, the recent outbreak of Covid-19 is expected to have a severe impact on the long steel market. TMT steel bars refer to thermo mechanically treated bars. TMT steel bars are steel bars with enhanced strength and highly ductile and malleable in nature. They are widely used for earthquake resistant buildings and bridge construction projects. Companies operating in the global TMT steel bar market are adopting strategies such as mergers, acquisitions, and new product launches that maximize their market share. The rising global construction industry boosts the growth of the TMT steel bar market. Infrastructural development across the globe drives the growth of the TMT steel bar market. Various advantages of TMT steel bars over tensional bars contribute to the growth of the TMT steel bar market. The expansion of modern architecture propels the growth of the TMT steel bar market. Furthermore, the growing demand for low-cost reinforcement bars stimulates the growth of the TMT steel bar market. On the flip side, technical constraints with respect to higher grade TMT bars hinder the growth of the TMT steel bar market. Polylactic Acid (PLA)

Poly-lactic acid (PLA) is a rigid thermoplastic polymer that can be semi-crystalline or totally amorphous, depending on the stereo-purity of the polymer backbone. L()-lactic acid (2-hydroxy prop ionic acid) is the natural and most common form of the acid, but D(L)-lactic acid can also be produced by microorganisms or through racemization and this “impurity” acts much like co monomers in other polymers such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polyethylene (PE). In PET, diethylene glycol or isophthalic acid is copolymerized into the backbone at low levels (1–10%) to control the rate of crystallization. In the same way, D-lactic acid units are incorporated into L-PLA to optimize the crystallization kinetics for specific fabrication processes and applications. PLA is a unique polymer that in many ways behaves like PET, but also performs a lot like polypropylene (PP), a polyolefin. Ultimately it may be the polymer with the broadest range of applications because of its ability to be stress crystallized, thermally crystallized, impact modified, filled, copolymerized, and processed in most polymer processing equipment. It can be formed into transparent films, fibers, or injection molded into blow moldable performs for bottles, like PET. PLA also has excellent organoleptic characteristics and is excellent for food contact and related packaging applications. In spite of this unique combination of characteristics, the commercial viability has historically been limited by high production costs. Until now PLA has enjoyed little success in replacing petroleum based plastics in commodity applications, with most initial uses limited to biomedical applications such as sutures. The global polylactic acid (PLA) market was valued around US$ 2.23 Bn in 2017 and is anticipated to expand at a stable CAGR above 20.5% during the forecast period 2018 to 2026. According to the “Polylactic Acid (PLA) Market-Global Industry Analysis, Size, Share, Growth, Trends and Forecast, 2018-2026”. Growing application in the cosmetics and personal care industry, ongoing advancements in science and technology, increasing consumer awareness and government incentives are some of the fundamental factors that are driving the global polylactic acid (PLA) market growth globally. The demand for polylactic acid products are increasing in the personal or skin care industry as the product improves skin lightening effects, accelerates cell renewal and exfoliation and enhances the collagen & elastic synthesis. Rapid invention of innovative products with focus on formulation improvement for a particular consumer group is anticipated to fuel the market growth. Moreover, the growing demand for fermented foods such as canned vegetables, yogurt, and butter is escalating the demand for lactic acid products. Edible Oil Refinery from Crude Palm Oil

Palm Nuts are an irresistible, nutritious and sweet tasting natural food. They provide good levels of Vitamin E (which enhances the immune system) and magnesium (which aids in nutrient delivery). Palm Nuts should be stored frozen. The palm kernel is the edible seed of the oil palm fruit. The fruit yields two distinct oils: palm oil derived from the outer parts of the fruit, and palm kernel oil derived from the kernel. Palm kernel cake is most commonly produced by economical screw press, less frequently via more expensive solvent extraction. Palm kernel cake is a high-fibre, medium-grade protein feed best suited to ruminants. Among other similar fodders, palm kernel cake is ranked a little higher than copra cake and cocoa pod husk, but lower than fish meal and groundnut cake, especially in its protein value. Composed of 16% fiber, palm kernel cake also has a high phosphorus-to-calcium ratio and contains such essential elements as magnesium, iron and zinc. The typical ration formulated for the feeding of dairy cattle consists of palm kernel cake (50%), molasses (5%), grass/hay (42%), limestone (1.5%), mineral premix (1%) and salt (0.5%) and trace element/vitamin premix. India is one of the major producers and consumers of vegetable oils. India accounts for 12-15% of the area under oilseeds and 6-7% of the production of vegetable oil in the world. Despite annual production of about 27.00million tonnes of oilseeds in the country, the availability of edible oil is insufficient to meet the domestic demand. The gap in demand and supply of edible oil is met through imports. Palm oil market size in India was valued at USD 5.16 billion in 2015.India palm oil market size is anticipated to reach USD 13.1 billion by 2025, at a CAGR of 15.4%. Increasing demand for edible oils owing to the burgeoning population and improving economic conditions is anticipated to remain the key growth driving factor over the forecast period. The industry in India presents massive potential for growth since the government has allowed 100% FDI in plantation and has also pledged huge financial aid to farmers in upcoming years. This development is likely to encourage domestic cultivation landscape and generate greater profit margins and opportunities for companies. The Indian edible oil industry is highly fragmented owing to the presence of a large number of organized as well as local and unorganized players. The country is also world’s third-largest consumer and largest importer from Malaysia and Indonesia. Government’s initiatives towards the installation of advanced plant machinery and automation are expected to foster sustainable production in the near future. Dextrose Saline

Normal saline (NS or N/S) is the commonly used phrase for a solution of 0.90% w/v of NaCl, about 300 mOsm/L or 9.0 g per liter. Aless commonly, this solution is referred to as physiological saline or isotonic saline, neither of which is technically accurate. NS is used frequently in intravenous drips (IVs) for patients who cannot take fluids orally and have developed or are in danger of developing dehydration or hypovolemia. For medical purposes, saline is often used to flush wounds and skin abrasions. Normal saline will not burn or sting when applied. Saline is also used in I.V. therapy, intraveno supplying extra water to rehydrate patients or supplying the daily water and salt needs ("maintenance" needs) of a patient who is unable to take them by mouth. Dextrose (D-glucose, corn sugar, starch sugar, blood sugar and grape sugar) is by far the most abundant sugar in nature and occurs either in the Free State (monosaccharide form) or chemically linked with other sugar varieties. In the Free State, it occurs in substantial quantities in honey, fruits, and berries. As a polymer of anhydrodextrose units, it occurs in starch, cellulose, and glycogen. Sucrose is a disaccharide of dextrose and fructose. Commercial production of dextrose by hydrolysis of starch yields white crystalline sugars that are either anhydrous (C6H12O6) or hydrated (C6H12O6H2O). Dextrose hydrate with its one molecule of water of crystallization per molecule of sugar, separates from concentrated solutions at <50°C. Anhydrous D-glucose does not contain water of crystallization and separates at 50-115°C. Another anhydrous form, B-D-glucose separates, if crystallization is carried out at temperatures >110-115°C. • Dextrose solution is used during post-operative period when sodium extraction is reduced. • Dextrose solution with concentration of 10-15% is used as di-urietic for increase in urine flow. • Dextrose solution of 5% normal salmicis used for restarting fluid volume in circulation of an emergency as in accidents with raemdrrhage. • Saline solution is used when large amount of sodium has been lost by vomiting or by gastric or intestinal duodenal aspiration or through analimucationfistuala. • Dextrose monohydrate is used as supplement to cow's milk in part of feeding. The increasing prevalence of chronic diseases is expected to drive the growth of the market. It has been forecasted that cancer will rapidly increase by approximately 70% in the next few decades. As per the World Cancer Research Fund International, stomach cancer is one of the top 5 cancers with 952,000 new cases diagnosed in 2012. These patients are ‘nil by mouth’ and have to rely on total parenteral nutrition (TPN) for survival. Intravenous (IV) solutions are fluids which are intended to be administered to a patient directly into the venous circulation. These fluids are sterile fluids which protects patients at the time of serious dehydration. There are various type of IV solutions available for use in the market. Many companies manufactures packaged intravenous fluids or products or compounds which can be mixed with sterile water to prepare a solution for intravenous administration.
