Waxes are among the oldest worked materials used by humans. Their value as versatile construction materials ("man's first plastic") was discovered very early. Today, waxes are used mostly as additives and active substances. The use of waxes is expected to increase in the future because of their generally favourable toxicological and ecological properties. The word "wax" usually refers to a variety of organic substances that are solid at ambient temperature but become free-flowing liquids at slightly higher temperatures. The chemical composition of waxes is complex, but normal alkanes are always present in high proportion and molecular weight profiles tend to be wide. The main commercial source of wax is crude oil but not all crude oil refiners produce wax. "Mineral" wax can also be produced from lignite. Plants, animals and even insects produce materials sold in commerce as "wax." Wax emulsions are now well established and extensively used in aqueous formulations such as coatings, inks and OPVs, textile and leather treatments, polishes, paper and cardboard coatings, etc. These ready-to-use emulsions can be easily incorporated by simple mixing. Their very fine particle size ensures an intimate and homogeneous incorporation within other ingredients of the formulation, maximizing the required effect(s). Wax emulsions can be stabilized by either a steric mechanism (using with non-ionic emulsifiers) or by an electrostatic mechanism (using ionic emulsifiers, most often anionics). Combining anionic and non-ionic emulsifiers gives the emulsion an optimum stability because wax particles are protected through both stabilization mechanisms referred to as the electro-steric stabilization mechanism. In addition to giving more flexibility in formulating, each stabilization mechanism has not only its own advantages and disadvantages but also significantly impacts on the overall formulation. Polyethylene wax is used in many applications to improve processing and end product properties. It is widely used in plastic, rubber and electrical industry, up to in ink, paint, detergent and chemical engineering industry, wax becomes more important product than ever in general industrial field as raw material additive improving its efficiency. Mustard Oil

Mustard/Rapeseed oil is the third largest edible oil produced in the world after Soy oil and Palm oil. At a production level of 13-14 million tons, it accounts for about 12% of the total World's edible oil production. India is estimated to have a total mustard seed output of 5 million ton while oil is around 1.3 million tons. The country also generates 2.4 million tons of oil cake. HDPE Pipes

These HDPE pipes and fittings have a high degree of corrosion resistance, are light in weight. Yet tough and durable, have excellent, hydraulic properties, excellent thermal properties, weather ability. High density polyethylene (HDPE) is being used as drainage pipe material because it is lightweight, corrosion resistant, easy to install, and has a low maintenance cost. The design of HDPE corrugated drainage pipe is based on the assumption that the pipe will deform and thus relieve stress. HDPE pipe has been used for decades in non-potable water applications. In particular, HDPE pipes are often preferred for their welded joints. While special equipment is required to form the weld, welding eliminates the need for separate fittings, a common source of leaks and contaminant infiltration. HDPE can be used for hot water as a liner in multilayer pipe, where the strength is provided by another pipe layer, such as aluminium, but multilayer pipes don’t offer all of the performance advantages of plastic alone. Polymers are classified into thermoplastics and thermosetting. The industry has expanded along with expansion of diverse applications areas such as packaging, extrusions, blow mouldings and industrial mouldings for automobiles, telecommunications and white goods. Security seals are mechanisms used to seal meters in a way that provides tamper evidence and some level of security. Such seals can help to detect theft or contamination, either accidental or deliberate.
