Barley Malt is germinated cereal grains that have been dried in a process known as "malting". The grains are made to germinate by soaking in water, and are then halted from germinating further by drying with hot air. Malting grains develop the enzymes required to modify the grain's starches into sugars, including the monosaccharide glucose, the disaccharide maltose, the trisaccharide maltotriose, and higher sugars called maltodextrines. Barley Malt also contains small amounts of other sugars, such as sucrose and fructose. Barley Malted grain is used to make beer, whisky, malted shakes, malt vinegar, confections such as Maltesers and Whoppers, flavored drinks such as Horlicks, Ovaltine and Milo, and some baked goods, such as malt loaf, bagels and rich tea biscuits. Malted grain that has been ground into a coarse meal is known as "sweet meal". Various cereals are malted, though barley is the most common. Malting is the process of converting barley or other cereal grains into malt, for use in brewing, distilling, or in foods and takes place in a maltings, sometimes called a malthouse, or a malting floor. Out of the total production of 14.5 lakh MT in the country hardly 10% is used for Malt production. Paraffin wax is a white or colorless soft solid derivable from petroleum, coal or oil shale, that consists of a mixture of hydrocarbon molecules containing between twenty and forty carbon atoms. It is solid at room temperature and begins to melt above approximately 37°C (99°F); its boiling point is >370 °C (698 °F). Common applications for paraffin wax include lubrication, electrical insulation, and candles. It is distinct from kerosene, another petroleum product that is sometimes called paraffin. Paraffin wax from a solvent dewaxing operation is commonly known as slack wax, and the processes used for the production of waxes are aimed at de-oiling the slack wax (petroleum wax concentrate). Wax sweating was originally used to separate wax fractions with various melting points from the wax obtained from shale oils. Wax sweating is still used to some extent but is being replaced by the more convenient crystallization process. Chemically, paraffin wax is a mixture of saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons (with the general formula CnH2n+2).Wax is the residue extracted when lubricant oils are dewaxed and it has a crystalline structure with a carbon number greater than 12.The main characteristics of wax are (1) absence of color, (2) absence of odor, (3) translucence, and (4) a melting point above 45°C (113°F). Uses • Candle-making • Coatings for waxed paper or cloth • Food-grade paraffin wax: • Shiny coating used in candy-making; although edible, it is nondigestible, passing right through the body without being broken down • Coating for many kinds of hard cheese, like Edam cheese • Sealant for jars, cans, and bottles • Chewing gum additive • Anti-caking agent, moisture repellent, and dust binding coatings for fertilizers • Used in Forensic investigations Wax consumption has been projected to grow at an average annual rate of greater than 2 percent from 2010 to 2020. Glucose is a monosaccharide (or simple sugar) also known as grape sugar, blood sugar, or corn sugar, is a very important carbohydrate in biology. The living cell uses it as a source of energy and metabolic intermediate. Glucose is one of the main products of photosynthesis and starts cellular respiration in both prokaryotes (bacteria and archaea) and eukaryotes (animals, plants, fungi, and protists). Sorbitol, also known as glucitol, is a sugar alcohol, which the human body metabolizes slowly. It can be obtained by reduction of glucose, changing the aldehyde group to a hydroxyl group. Most sorbitol is made from corn syrup, but it is also found in apples, pears, peaches, and prunes. It is synthesized by sorbitol-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, and converted to fructose by succinate dehydrogenase and sorbitol dehydrogenase. Succinate dehydrogenase is an enzyme complex that participates in the citric acid cycle. Corn oil (maize oil) is oil extracted from the germ of corn (maize). Its main use is in cooking, where its high smoke point makes refined corn OIL a valuable frying oil. It is also a key ingredient in some margarines. Corn oil is generally less expensive than most other types of vegetable oils. The corn contains corn oil 2.8% by weight. Corn oil is also a feedstock used for biodiesel. Other industrial uses for corn oil include soap, salve, paint, rust proofing for metal surfaces, inks, textiles, nitroglycerin, and insecticides. It is sometimes used as a carrier for drug molecules in pharmaceutical preparations. A large part of the demand for starches arises from the paper, textile, construction and pharmaceutical industries. Their use in foods is growing at a low rate. Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) is a non-combustible, lime-based, cementitious building material that is expanding into new worldwide markets. As a single-component building material, AAC has achieved acceptance in new markets throughout the world. This is a light- weight building material produced by autoclaving a set mix of fine siliceous materials such as ground sand or fly ash and a binder like Portland cement or lime. Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) products are 4 times lighter in weight than ordinary concrete. Its characteristic structure comprising millions of tiny pores, it offers optimum solidity at low weight. As air has a low heat conductivity, aerated concrete provides for excellent thermal protection. It protects from cold and heat, allowing for single-shell constructions which provide more space, save time and reduce costs-aspects which are of considerable importance to property developers. Advantages of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks: High strength to weight ratio, Low thermal conductivity, Stability to variations in temperature and humidity, and resistance to fire. AAC products are equally suitable for residential construction, multistory buildings, commercial, and industrial construction. The products are made of natural materials: sand, lime, and water. These raw materials are processed to provide a building material with a large number of air pores. “The autoclaved aerated concrete sector of the construction industry is now in the phase of a tremendous growth cycle. The autoclaved aerated concrete industry must utilize competitive techniques as customers are looking for lowered costs. AAC is not a new building system but it is new to India. Autoclaved aerated concrete (“AAC”), though relatively unknown in India, is currently one of the many building products being touted as “green” or “environmentally friendly.” Thus, due to demand it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest. Lubricants Blending Plant (Lubricants/Grease) - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

A lubricant is a substance introduced to reduce friction between moving surfaces. It may also have the function of transporting foreign particles. The property of reducing friction is known as lubricity. (Slipperiness). A good lubricant possesses the following characteristics: High boiling point , Low freezing point ,High viscosity index , Thermal stability , Corrosion prevention , High resistance to oxidation. Lubricants are typically used to separate moving parts in a system. This has the benefit of reducing friction and surface fatigue, together with reduced heat generation, operating noise and vibrations. Lubricants may contain additives known as friction modifiers that chemically bind to metal surfaces to reduce surface friction even when there is insufficient bulk lubricant present for hydrodynamic lubrication, e.g. protecting the valve train in a car engine at startup. On average, lubricating oils, which quantitatively account for about 90% of lubricant consumption, consist of about 93% base oils and 7% chemical additives and other components (between 0.5 and 40 %). A solid or semisolid lubricant consisting of a thickening agent (soap or other additives) in a fluid lubricant (usually petroleum lubricating oil) is called grease.Grease is a lubricant which has been thickened in order that it remains in contact with moving surfaces and not leak out under gravity or centrifugal action. Functions of lubricating grease:- Reduce Wear and Tear , Sealant to Contaminants , Prevent Corrosion, Prevent Rust , Heat Transmission , Resist. The production of simple lubricants normally involves blending processes but specialties often require the use of chemical processes such as saponification (in the case of greases), esterification (when manufacturing ester base oils or additives) or amidation (when manufacturing components for metalworking lubricants). Further manufacturing processes include drying, filtration, homogenizing, dispersion or distillation. Throughout the world, industrial applications account for most of the grease used for railroad, general manufacturing, steel production and mining predominate Among automotive applications, trucks and buses account for the majority of grease used, followed by agricultural/construction equipment and passenger cars. Clinker Grinding for Cement - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

Cement is an inorganic, non-metallic substance with hydraulic binding properties, and is used as a bonding agent in building materials. It is a fine powder, usually gray in color that consists of a mixture of the hydraulic cement minerals to which one or more forms of calcium sulfate have been added. Mixed with water it forms a paste, which hardens due to formation of cement mineral hydrates. Cement is the binding agent in concrete, which is a combination of cement, mineral aggregates and water. Concrete is a key building material for a variety of applications. In the manufacture of Portland cement, clinker is lumps or nodules, usually 3-25 mm in diameter, produced by sintering limestone and alumino-silicate during the cement kiln stage. Clinker is the main ingredient in cement. These hardened granules are obtained by firing a mixture of approximately 80% limestone and 20% clay to a high temperature. The most commonly used cement in the world is Portland cement, which is formed at high temperatures that chemically combine the ingredients into new components, including calcium silicates and calcium aluminates. When the cement clinkers are ground with approximately 5% gypsum, they form Portland cement. These compounds allow cement to set when combined with water and to form strong bonds that can withstand pressure, water immersion, and other elements. Cement Clinker is an intermediate product used in manufacture of Portland and Blended Cements in Cement. Portland cement clinker is ground (usually with the addition of a little gypsum, that is, calcium sulfate dehydrate) to a fine powder and used as the binder in many cement products. As a whole it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest. Aluminium Bare Conductors - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

A wire or combination or wires not insulated from one another, suitable for carrying a single electric current is called conductor. The term conductor is not to include a combination of conductors insulated from one another, which would be suitable for carrying several different electric currents. Aluminium is a metal characterized by high resistance to corrosion, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and a density which is about one-third or less that of steel, copper, or nickel. Aluminium can be used as a power conductor, or for wire and cable shielding. Aluminium provides a lower weight to current-carrying ratio compared to copper. Aluminium has a lower tensile strength than copper, but approaches that of copper for the equivalent ampacity. When terminated with appropriate plating, hardware and processes as stipulated by the governing standards, Aluminium bussing, wiring and terminations prove to be as reliable as copper. Finally, the choice of Aluminium conductors can provide a significant cost savings. Aluminium and aluminium alloy conductors are the preferred and dominant conductors in several areas of power distribution. The major areas dominated by aluminium and aluminium alloy conductors are non-insulated overhead power transmission, insulated overhead power transmission and non overhead power distribution. Aluminium and aluminium alloy conductors offer good conductivity, light weight, excellent resistance to corrosion, good bending properties, greater tensile strength than copper and excellent compatibility with most common insulation used by the wire and cable industry. During 2010-2015, the Indian equipment manufacturing will grow at 5.5 times the growth rate of global electronic equipment production. Therefore, it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest. Concrete is a key building material for a variety of applications. Cement, as used in construction industries, which when mixed with water and allowed to set and harden can join different components or members together to give a mechanically strong structure. Thus cement can be used as bonding material for bricks or for bonding solid particles of different sizes (rubber masonry) to form a monolith. The most common use for cement is in the production of concrete. Concrete is a composite material consisting of aggregate (gravel and sand), cement, and water. As a construction material, concrete can be cast in almost any shape desired, and once hardened, can become a structural (load bearing) element. Indian cement industry, a leading manufacturing sub-sector in India, entered a new era after the partial decontrol in 1982 and near total free market in 1989, ahead of the dawn of the liberalisation era in the country. The industry was totally delicensed in 1991 under the Industries Development and Regulation Act. India is the second largest producer of cement in the world after China.
