Lithium Ion Battery (Battery Assembly)

Lithium batteries are now powering a wide range of electrical and electronical devices, including laptop computers, mobile phones, power tools, telecommunication systems and new generations of electric cars and vehicles. Lithium metal batteries and lithium ion batteries. Basically, the difference between them is that lithium metal batteries are those that are not rechargeable, thus, primary, and lithium ion batteries are those that can be recharged. As an example, your laptop or cell phone is likely to have a lithium ion battery, whereas your watch may have a lithium metal battery. During charging, lithium ions (yellow circles) flow from the positive electrode (red) to the negative electrode (blue) through the electrolyte (gray). Electrons also flow from the positive electrode to the negative electrode, but take the longer path around the outer circuit. The electrons and ions combine at the negative electrode and deposit lithium there. The India lithium-ion battery market is expected to grow at a robust CAGR of 29.26% during the forecast period, 2018-2023. The Indian automobile sector is one of the most prominent sectors of the country, accounting for nearly 7.1% of the national GDP. The industry produced a total of 25.31 million vehicles, including commercial, passenger, two, and three vehicles and commercial quadricycle in April-March 2017, as against 24.01 million in April-March 2016. The high cost of lithium-ion batteries was considered earlier as one of the principal difficulties for the implementation of India’s ambitious all-electric vehicle target by 2030. Solar Panel

Solar panel refers either to a photovoltaic module, a solar thermal energy panel, or to a set of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules electrically connected and mounted on a supporting structure. A PV module is a packaged, connected assembly of solar cells. Solar panels can be used as a component of a larger photovoltaic system to generate and supply electricity in commercial and residential applications. Each module is rated by its DC output power under standard test conditions (STC), and typically ranges from 100 to 320 watts. The efficiency of a module determines the area of a module given the same rated output - an 8% efficient 230 watt module will have twice the area of a 16% efficient 230 watt module. There are a few solar panels available that are exceeding 19% efficiency. A single solar module can produce only a limited amount of power most installations contain multiple modules. A photovoltaic system typically includes a panel or an array of solar modules, an inverter, and sometimes a battery and/or solar tracker and interconnection wiring. India solar power products market is projected to grow at a CAGR of more than 11% to surpass $ 7.6 billion by 2024 on the back of increasingly stringent policy and regulatory framework and rising environmental concerns. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has set a target of 100 GW of solar power generation capacity by 2022. To achieve the target, government has taken several initiatives in the form of offering subsidies, financial assistance, incentives to manufacturers, power producers and even customers. Methanol from Coal

Methanol is a liquid chemical with the formula CH3OH (often abbreviated MeOH). It is colorless, volatile, flammable, and poisonous. Methanol is made from the destructive distillation of wood and is chiefly synthesized from carbon monoxide and hydrogen. Its principal uses are in organic synthesis, as a fuel, solvent, and antifreeze. Methanol is a polar liquid at room temperature. It is used as antifreeze, solvent, fuel, and as a denaturant for ethanol. The chemical is also used to produce biodiesel via transesterification reaction. Because methanol has toxic properties, it is frequently used as a denaturant additive for ethanol manufactured for industrial purposes. Methanol is frequently called wood alcohol because it was once produced primarily as a byproduct of the destructive distillation of wood. Methanol can be produced from Natural Gas, Indian High Ash Coal, Bio-mass, MSW, stranded and flared gases and India can achieve (through right technology adaptation} to produce Methanol from Indian coal and all other feedstock. The best part world is already moving towards renewable methanol from C02 and the perpetual recycling of C02 into Methanol, say C02 emitted from Steel plants, Geothermal energy or any other source of C02, effectively "Air to Methanol". During the last few years, the use of methanol and DME as fuel has increased significantly. Methanol demand is growing at a robust 6 to 8 % annually. Active Pharma Ingredients (API) Amoxicillin Trihydrate, Azithromycin & Paracetamol

Active pharmaceutical ingredients are the active substances that are used in the manufacture of a drug and have a pharmacological effect. They provide health benefits and play a vital role in disease diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. Active pharmaceutical ingredients may be synthesized either chemically or through biotechnological methods. Azithromycin is used to treat certain bacterial infections, such as bronchitis; pneumonia; sexually transmitted diseases (STD); and infections of the ears, lungs, sinuses, skin, throat, and reproductive organs. Paracetamol is a commonly used medicine that can help treat pain and reduce a high temperature (fever). It is often recommended as one of the first treatments for pain, as it's safe for most people to take and side effects are rare. India is the seventh largest country in the world and has the second highest population. It has a parliamentary democratic form of government and has abundant natural resources and sufficient oil reserves. Huge investment promises from different countries predict a bright future for India. It has a well-developed administration and an independent judicial system with an ever-growing consumer base. It has a huge pool of hard-working skilled workers in all fields. The government has set up tax and non-tax incentives to establish new industrial entities in specific sectors, which include energy, ports, highways, electronics, and software. The Make in India initiative was launched by the government in 2014 and received an excellent response from the developed nations. The government has also created special areas dedicated to export, called export-processing zones (EPZs) or special economic zones (SEZs), to encourage foreign investment. The global active pharmaceutical ingredient market size is expected to reach a value of USD 286.6 billion by 2027, registering a CAGR of 6.7% over the forecast period. Factors, such as increasing preference for outsourcing APIs and growing prevalence of various target diseases such as cancer and Cardiovascular Diseases (CVDs) are expected to drive the market growth. Patent expirations of blockbuster drugs give rise to generic versions of these molecules, wherein the manufacturers bear the cost. After a patent expires, R&D investments done by the company are no longer beneficial for the company. API production requires a huge capital amount as the process needs extremely systematic protocols. Thus, pharmaceutical companies benefit from outsourcing API production, as it eliminates the need for labor force and installing expensive manufacturing units. Strategic outsourcing allows companies to focus on their core competencies, ultimately resulting in increased productivity. These factors are also projected to drive the active pharmaceutical ingredient market growth. The growth of active pharmaceutical ingredients market is marked by the huge demand for drugs like analgesics, anti-infectives and diabetes, and pain management drugs. But with the rising trend of increasing research and development (R&D) activities, the demand is experiencing a shift towards the advancement of complex APIs that find use in novel formulations, thereby targeting niche therapeutic areas. This facilitates the development of new technologies and ensures a high quality product. Among the problems for pharmaceutical supply chains during this pandemic are the restrictions and impact of COVID-19 on two of the largest global producers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and generics: China and India. APIs is a crucial part of the pharma industry’s strategic plan to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The majority of APIs for generic drug manufacturing across the globe are sourced from India, which also supplies approximately 30 percent of the generic APIs used in the US. However, Indian manufacturers rely heavily on APIs from China for the production of their medicine formulations, procuring around 70 percent from China, the top global producer and exporter of APIs by volume. Role of Government towards API The coronavirus outbreak disrupting supply of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and medical devices from China to India, the government has come out with four schemes worth Rs 13,760 crore to encourage manufacturing of bulk drugs and medical devices in the country and their exports. On March 21, the Union Cabinet under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had approved an expenditure of Rs. 9,940 crore and Rs. 3,820 crore for APIs and medical devices, respectively. Manufacturing process of graphite crucible During the sintering process of graphite crucibles, the organizational structure of the green body has a series of changes, the changing part is mainly the plastic refractory clay. The basic process of the crucible sintering can be divided into the following four stages to illustrate: Preheating and baking stage. The temperature at 100~300 degrees, it is the process of graphite crucibles exclude residual moisture. The heating speed should slow and the kiln roof should be open, it should control the temperature strictly especially when the graphite crucibles in the residual moisture content exceeds 3%, otherwise the crucibles will have the crack and it maybe explode. Low temperature firing stage: 400-600? is the Low temperature stage of sintering of the graphite crucible. With the increase of the temperature of the kiln, the combination water in the crucible begins to decompose and remove. the main composition in clay are Al2O3 and SiO2, once formed, they are in the free state, the glaze layer of crucible surface has not yet melted, heating speed should be still slow, if the heating speed is too fast and uneven, it also prone to explode and the collapse of the crucible bing . Mesothermal sintering stage: 700-900? is the Mesothermal sintering stage of graphite crucible. At this time, the amorphous Al2O3 in clay may be partially converted into y crystalline Al2O3 when the kiln temperature gradually increased, the Al2O3 and Si0'exist in the Free State form hard silicate cured material, it connect the graphite and clinker in crucible and then solidified into a whole. In the medium temperature sintering process, the surface glaze layer in graphite crucible melt with the increasing of temperature gradually and form a layer of glass like glaze film, enclosed or covered on the surface of the crucible, it protect the crucible from oxidation. During this period, it is better to heat up quickly and the original flame should be good in the kiln. High temperature firing stage: The temperature of this stage temperature is iooo-1200cc. The clay in graphite crucible after sintering in the medium temperature form curing, gradually transformed into mullite, such as 3A1203+2Si07:3Al203'2Si0. (Mullite). During this period, the heating rate should be faster than in the middle temperature (commonly known as the fire process), the furnace flame should be controlled in the neutral flame or reducing flame. The glaze layer has been completely melted during the crucible in high temperature sintering process, forming a glass like glaze film, close to the crucible surface. If the temperature exceeds the maximum temperature limit of sintering glaze, it easily cause the oxidation of the crucible. Therefore, in the high temperature sintering process, we should observe the glaze layer melting condition of graphite crucible and avoid the burnt and not up to the sintering. Mullite (3A1203'2Si02), a senior Department of physical and chemical properties of refractory minerals and a stable. The density, hardness, refractoriness and softening point are very high, low coefficient of thermal expansion. In the structure of the crucible, it is an important role of consolidation and hardening. It can be known that, in the crucible sintering process, due to the thermal effect of plastic refractory clay, the consolidation of graphite and clinker has a certain mechanical strength. Therefore, high and low of the sintering temperature, temperature control in the process of operation, it will has an important influence to the quality and service life of graphite crucible products. Market Outlook The global graphite market was valued at $14.3 billion in 2019, and is expected to reach $21.6 billion by 2027, registering a CAGR of 5.3% from 2020 to 2027. This increase in demand from the steel and battery manufacturing industry is attributed to increase in use of graphite electrode. Synthetic graphite is expected to maintain its dominance during the forecast period. Graphite crucibles are widely used in experiments and for melting metals through high precision CNC machining equipment. Graphite crucibles of high purity, high density, and high strength are used in these applications. Growth of the foundry industry is a major factor driving the graphite crucibles market. A growing industrial sector coupled with the increasing need for specialized metal and alloy castings is expected to enhance the demand for graphite crucibles during the forecast period. As per an assessment, 8.5% growth in foundry and casting industry is estimated across the globe. Therefore, the use of graphite crucibles is expected to increase accordingly. Development of modern small scale industries and positive outlook of the special casting metallurgical industry in countries in Asia Pacific is further estimated to drive the graphite crucibles market in the next few years Graphite crucibles can withstand high temperature, and have good resistance to chemical erosions and thermal shock.
