What are the Natural Resources in Libya?

Libya, with its huge natural wealth, may be termed North Africa's best-kept secret. Libya is 80 percent desert (mainly Sahara), but it is anything but hidden, since it is positioned near to two of the world's largest bodies of water and has one of the world's largest oil reserves. Iron ore, manganese, chromium ore, asbestos, and gypsum are all abundant in the country. It contains untapped mineral resources worth an estimated $200 billion! Natural gas reserves are also plentiful. Libya, in reality, has more than 35 trillion cubic feet of proven gas reserves, making it the sixth largest in the world. As if that weren't enough, Libyan soil has significant amounts of copper and gold. According to estimates from the United States Geological Survey, Only off Libya's Mediterranean coast can you find up to 200 million barrels of crude oil! Libyans should have no trouble making money for years to come with all of these natural resources at their disposal. Consider how you might profit from these important commodities if you want your business idea to flourish in Libya. Is it possible that your company will specialise in mineral extraction or petroleum processing? Perhaps it will entail the transport of commodities across international waters? Or perhaps it will provide some form of agricultural service? You can expect that Libya's enormous natural resources will play a key part in your company's success, regardless of what you do.

What are the Business Opportunities in Libya

Libya used to be renowned for having Africa's highest Human Development Index. The discovery of gas and oil in the 1950s transformed the country into one of the richest in the region, and effectively made it Africa's third richest country. Libya has progressed in our health as a result of the finding of hydrocarbon wealth. The answer is complex and varies depending on how much danger you're willing to accept. If you're interested in trading, investing in Libya, or importing/exporting goods from/to the country, there have been various new laws implemented since 2011 that have streamlined trade permits and import/export restrictions. Foreign corporations can now own 100% of their Libyan subsidiaries (up from 60% previously), although Libyan residents must still own the majority of them. As Foreign companies with a minimum capitalization of $50,000 can also open completely owned subsidiaries in Libya as of 2015. There are plenty of local business opportunities for investors hoping to profit from Libya's reconstruction effort:

Reasons for starting a business in Libya

Libya's economy is based on free market principles. Petroleum, petroleum products, natural gas, and petrochemicals are all produced and exported. The working force numbers over 5 million people, with women accounting for 52% of the workforce, and unemployment is at 20%. If you want to start a business in Libya but don't know where to start, this is the place to go.

The Libyan economy is mostly based on oil profits, which account for 80% of export earnings, 45% of GDP, and 90% of government revenues. Oil production expansion aided in accelerating economic growth from 1.4 percent per year between 1969 and 1999 to 4.1 percent per year between 2000 and 2008. Reasons for getting started

Business-Friendly Policies and Government Initiatives;

As a new entrepreneur, you may be wondering if your country is good for business; as of 2016, enterprises that are at least 51 percent Libyan-owned, employ at least 100 people, and have at least $1 million in paid-up capital are eligible to apply for an operating licence. A business that meets these requirements will be granted a five-year license; businesses with fewer than 100 employees will be granted a four-year license. In addition, businesses with yearly revenues of less than $10 million can operate without obtaining a licence, but must file annual income tax filings. Currently, all foreign investors who intend to create or acquire a business must comply with Law No. 10/2012 on Investment Promotion. A stake of more than 20% in any corporate entity requires authorization from the General People's Committee on Foreign Investment (GPC). Prior notification is what it's called, and it's issued based on a set of general criteria established by The GPC.

Libya Industrial Infrastructure

Libya has a plethora of industrial facilities. It has a well-developed infrastructure within its borders, making it an ideal setting for companies looking to enter Libya's competitive industrial sector. However, before deciding whether or not to do business in Libya, there are various aspects to consider. This will assist you in ensuring that your business has every possibility to succeed and profit while doing so. Here are a few examples of what I'm talking about:

Libya's economy is driven by oil production and exports (80% of GDP), which account for the majority of the country's foreign exchange revenues. Agriculture, industry, and services are the three primary sectors after oil. Agriculture was once a significant element of Libya's economy, but it has since collapsed. During WWII, land was repurposed for different use. It now accounts for only approximately 3% of GDP while employing 12% of the workforce. Fishing also offers sustenance for locals; Libyans devour more fish per capita than anyone else in the planet—roughly 140 pounds per year! In 2010, industry provided 40% of GDP and employed 16% of the workforce. Petroleum products, textiles, apparel, refined petroleum products, chemicals, construction materials, plastics items, and processed foods among its most well-known products. Despite not having as many natural resources as many of its neighbours, Libya has proven deposits of high-grade crude oil that account for nearly all of its export profits.

Battery for Auto Vehicles

An automotive battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical current to a motor vehicle. Its main purpose is to feed the starter, which starts the engine. Once the engine is running, power for the car's electrical systems is supplied by the alternator. The market demand for these battery is huge as more and more vehicles are being developed daily and more electric vehicles are increasingly being used. As the automotive technology has advanced, automobiles consist of a large number of functions these days. These functions have increased exponentially during the past few years, as a result of the intense competition amongst the vehicle manufacturers. Features, like state-of-the-art gadgets and lighting, car infotainment systems, etc. have trickled down even into the entry-level automobiles. These new attributes have put immense pressure on car batteries, which have to take on higher loads. The new fuel-saving technologies, like micro-hybrid systems are also leading to higher battery usage. Features in commercial and passenger vehicles are set to increase exponentially during the forecast period, which is anticipated be a major driver for the automotive battery market. The Global demand for automotive batteries is forecast to rise 13% per year to $54.1 billion in 2022, expanding to 38% of total sales. Rising manufacturing and use of motor vehicles worldwide will spur sales growth. The HEV segment will more than quadruple in size as these vehicles increasingly penetrate global markets. Electric vehicles, which use more expensive batteries than hybrids, will post particularly strong growth, boosting overall market value. While falling prices for lithium-ion batteries (on a kWh basis) will be a major contributor to growth for HEVs, a shift toward batteries with higher capacities will boost prices on a unit basis and contribute to the expanding market size.

Blue Detergent Powder

A detergent is a surfactant or a mixture of surfactants with cleaning properties in dilute solutions. These substances are usually alkyl benzene sulfonates, a family of compounds that are similar to soap but are more soluble in hard water, because the polar sulfonate (of detergents) is less likely than the polar carboxylate (of soap) to bind to calcium and other ions found in hard water. In most household contexts, the term detergent by itself refers specifically to laundry detergent or dish detergent, as opposed to hand soap or other types of cleaning agents. Detergents are commonly available as powders or concentrated solutions. Detergents, like soaps, work because they are amphiphilic: partly hydrophilic (polar) and partly hydrophobic (non-polar). Their dual nature facilitates the mixture of hydrophobic compounds (like oil and grease) with water. Because air is not hydrophilic, detergents are also foaming agents to varying degrees. Detergents are available in three forms, namely powder detergent, bar detergent and liquid detergent. Powder detergents are widely accepted by Indian consumers and dominate the industry. Even though detergent bars are still used in rural areas, they are fast disappearing from the market because of ineffectiveness. The detergent industry is an international industry which has been increasing by multiple percents every year. It is an integration of diverse companies that are fundamentally engaged in manufacturing synthetic organic detergents, inorganic alkaline detergents, and crude and refined glycerin from vegetable oils and animal fats. The industry is further expected to grow in both the industrialized as well as in the developing nations.

Bicycle Tyre & Tubes Production from Natural Rubber

Bicycle Tyre & Tubes Production from Natural Rubber. How to Start a Tire and Tubes Manufacturing Business Tyres are one of the most important components of a bicycle build. Bicycle tires perform an important function of eliminating the shock transferred through the front and rear wheels as they travel on uneven and rough surfaces; effectively gaining traction on the road so that the bicycle can travel properly and doesn’t slip. It is also used for hand cycles and specially designed wheelchairs for racing purposes. The complete tire system provides ideal suspension, produces the longitudinal force essential for propulsion and braking, and creates the lateral force required for turning and balancing. A bicycle tire is a tire that fits on the wheel of a bicycle, unicycle, tricycle, quadracycle, bicycle trailer, or trailer bike. They may also be used on wheelchairs and handcycles, especially for racing. Bicycle tires provide an important source of suspension, generate the lateral forces necessary for balancing and turning, and generate the longitudinal forces necessary for propulsion and braking. They are the second largest source, after air drag, of power consumption on a level road. The modern detachable pneumatic bicycle tire contributed to the popularity and eventual dominance of the safety bicycle. There are various grips offered in the market, which enhance traction between the wheels and the road and increase performance at high speeds and on uneven and rough terrains. The recent removable pneumatic bicycle tire contributed to the acceptance and enhanced safety operation of bicycle. Over the years, with bicycles becoming more advanced and efficient, advanced bicycle tires have been developed to improve riding performance and capability. Over the several years manufacturers were keen on reducing the bicycle’s body weight and enhancing strength, so it may travel at a desirable speeds. Tube Bicycle tubes are the backbone of the bicycle industries. Few numbers of companies in organized sector are engaged in the quality grade cycles tyres and tubes and few unorganized sector also engaged to manufacturing bicycle tyre and tubes. An inner tube is basically a doughnut-shaped balloon, with a valve for inflation. The only requirement for an inner tube is that it should not leak. Being rubber, they have no rigid structure. If an inner tube is inflated outside of a tyre, it will expand to 2 or 3 times its nominal size, if it doesn't explode first. Without being surrounded by a tyre, an inner tube can't withstand any significant air pressure. Market Outlook The bicycle tires market possesses a lot of potential for growth in the research and development division. Also, the market for bicycle tires has increased due to development in the overall bicycle market, as consumers are more attracted towards safety and riding comfort. In a bicycle, tires are the most important component and the replacement rate of the tires is high, owing to the high rate of friction between the tire and road. The aftermarket for replacement and services is projected to remain healthy over the forecast period as consumers will try to keep their bikes up to the mark. Moreover, in developed nations, the ability to ride at faster speeds with comfort is estimated to drive growth of the bicycle tires market in the near future. Furthermore, growth in racing and adventure sports, such as dirt biking and off-road riding will fuel growth of the overall bicycle tires market in the coming future. Events, such as the Tour de France, Olympics and other bicycle professional races will propel growth in the bicycle tires market and force manufacturers to come up with new product and goods, which are more capable for ideal riding. The emergence of eco-friendly bicycle tires is one of the major trends being witnessed in the global bicycle tires market 2019-2023. The products used in manufacturing rubber compounds are polluting the environment. The increasing air pollution is pushing manufacturers to reduce the emission from the manufacturing process. Thus, such environmental concerns have paved the way for innovation in terms of eco-friendly tires that are manufactured using pure rubber compounds and low-aromatic oils. Low-aromatic oils have low levels of harmful compounds, which makes them highly durable and non-carcinogenic. The bicycle tires market has been majorly driven by increasing users of bicycles in the recent years. Various factors such as environmental concerns, health and fitness, among others have compelled pedestrians to make use of bicycles for their regular commute. Thereby, the market has witnessed an increasing demand for new bicycles for various applications such as regular on-road use, off-road biking and sports. As a result, the bicycle tire market has been witnessing an increased demand for various types of on-road and off-road tires. Moreover, with ongoing product innovation in the tubeless and airless tires segments, the market is expected to witness significant growth during the forecast period. The Growing popularity of premium bicycles around the world is attributable to the increasing acceptance of premium bicycle that provide better riding and safety features. These bicycles are built using advanced technologies and modern designs by incorporating high- end materials to offer comfort and durability. The major reason for the growth of premium bicycle is increasing average disposable income and increasing dual household income. The increasing demand for premium bicycles is increasing the demand for the high- quality components and uniqueness in the bicycle tire. Such factors increase the revenue of the bicycle tire manufactures. Therefore, the growing demand for premium bicycles is expected to drive the demand for the market. Indian Tyre Industry The Indian Tyre industry is expected to show a healthy growth rate of 9-10% over the next five years. The domestic tyre industry is expected to post volumes growth of 7-8 per cent to 1,805 lakh tyres during FY2018. Indian tyre industry has been reporting good growth figures over the past few years, spurred by the growing passenger vehicle and two-wheeler market. It has emerged as one of the most competitive markets in the world and with the emergence of new technology, ultra-modern production facilities and availability of raw materials, the sector is poised to grow further. Tyre Inner Tubes Tyre inner tubes are the internal components of the primary tyre which are designed to sustain air pressure. Majority of the tyres which are used in motorcycles, bicycle and large vehicles such as tractors, heavy trucks, cars, and buses are designed for their application with inner tubes. These are made from impermeable materials such as synthetic, elastic, soft rubber for the purpose of avoiding air leakge and are torus shaped in nature. In addition, inner tubes which are larger in size possess the ability to be re used for other applications such as rafting and swimming. These tubes are large inflatable toruses which are manufactured for these applications while also offering a choice of decks, handles, fabric covering, colors and other various accessories, eliminating the protruding valve stem. The global inner tube industry is dependent on raw materials such as rubber suppliers as well as the buyers which mainly include automotive manufacturers. More than half of the global rubber production goes into the manufacturing of automotive tyres. In addition, the inner tube and tyre industry serve as the largest application segment in the overall rubber industry. Trash chutes must not be used for the transfer or disposal of biomedical waste. Classification of Biomedical Waste Approximately 75-90% of the biomedical waste is non-hazardous and as harmless as any other municipal waste. The remaining 10-25% is hazardous and can be injurious to humans or animals and deleterious to environment. It is important to realize that if both these types are mixed together then the whole waste becomes harmful. • Non Hazardous Waste This constitutes about 85% of the waste generated in most healthcare set-ups. This includes waste comprising of food remnants, fruit peels, wash water, paper cartons, packaging material etc. • Hazardous Waste Biohazard: Biological hazards, also known as biohazards, refer to biological substances that pose a threat to the health of living organisms, primarily that of humans. This can include medical waste or samples of a microorganism, virus or toxin (from a biological source) that can impact human health. It can also include substances harmful to animals. The term and its associated symbol is generally used as a warning, so that those potentially exposed to the substances will know to take precautions. Market Outlook India is likely to generate about 775.5 tonnes of medical waste per day by 2022 from the current level of 550.9 tonnes daily. Bio-medical waste in India is projected to grow at a rate higher than the overall healthcare services market driven by the expansion of the increasing awareness, improving efficiencies in the system, medical tourism, number of clinics, hospitals, rising of the ageing population and new BMW guidelines. Medical waste is the waste generated from hospitals, clinics, dental hospitals, veterinary hospitals, blood banks, and medical research institutes, laboratories. The waste may be generated during various treatments and surgeries, it may be generated during test, production or any biological research. Medical waste does not confine to used syringes and other surgical instruments but all the processes, testing and production of various biological operations. Global Medical Waste Management Market is estimated to reach $26.9 Billion by 2025; growing at a CAGR of 5.6% from 2017 to 2025. Medical waste management states to the suitable processing of waste materials produced by the healthcare institutions. These waste materials are generated at, hospitals, research institutions, health care teaching institutes, clinics, laboratories, blood banks, animal houses and veterinary institutes. Health-care waste comprises all the wastes produced by medical activities. It holds activities of diagnosis, curative and palliative, preventive treatments in the field of veterinary medicine and human. In addition, it includes the same types of waste originating from minor and scattered sources, including waste produced in the course of health care undertaken in the home (e.g. home dialysis, self-administration of insulin, recuperative care). The development of innovative manufacturing techniques for drugs and medical devices in the pharmaceuticals industry is growing rapidly. Furthermore, the growth of market is also reflected by the efficient supply of inventories required in day-to-day functioning of hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers. This results in generation of more waste. These by products and residues need a proper system or service for collection, transportation, disposal, and recycling of specific materials or byproducts, if required. Given the growing amount of all types of medical wastes, globally, and increasing regulatory pressure to properly dispose these wastes in a non-hazardous way, the global medical waste management market is expected to grow at a steady pace in the coming years. Medical waste refers to the waste originated within medical amenities, such as hospitals, clinics, veterinary hospitals/clinics, dental practices, physician's offices, laboratories, pharmaceutical industry, and blood banks. There are several types of medical wastes including hazardous (such as infectious, radioactive, or toxic), universal, bio hazardous (such as, red bag medical waste and sharps containers), and solid. The process of medical waste management includes transportation, treatment or destruction, disposal, and documentation of waste generated from the facility. Growing volume of medical waste, increasing focus on the management of medical waste, and stringent regulatory framework to manage these wastes safely and in an ecofriendly way are some of the factors driving the medical waste management industry. There are numerous factors driving, restraining and generating opportunities for the world medical waste management market. Rising concerns over employing eco-friendly and safe waste management and treatment process is likely to drive the market in years to come. In addition, the growing healthcare industry would generate more medical waste thereby, generating opportunity for the market. However, lack of awareness about the health hazards associated with medical waste, lack of training for proper disposal coupled with inadequate funds have hindered market growth of world medical waste management. The market is segmented in terms of disposal or treatment site, type of waste, service, treatment and geography. The treatment site for medical waste disposal can either be offsite or onsite. On the other hand, waste materials are classified as hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The market is also bifurcated in terms of waste treatment services which include collection storage, recycling & transportation, recycling and disposal of the waste. These waste could be treated by chemical treatment, incineration & autoclaving and others. On the basis of geography, the report segments the world medical waste management market into North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and LAMEA. Growing geriatric population requiring health care products and services, increasing incidence and prevalence of infectious and lifestyle diseases, expanding health care infrastructure, changing lifestyles, enforcement of various regulations for the management of biomedical waste, and increasing awareness about safety and security against the hazards caused by biomedical wastes are some factors driving the global biomedical waste management market. However, high cost of services provided by biomedical waste management players, lack of education to workers handling the waste and health care workers about importance of biomedical waste treatment and disposal are factors restraining the market. Some of the major players operating in global medical waste management industry include, BioMedical Waste Solutions LLC, Clean Harbors Inc., Daniels Sharpsmart Inc., Hawaii Bio-Waste Systems Inc. (HBW), Healthcare Environmental Services Group, Medclean Technologies Inc., Medasend Biomedical Inc., Miller Group, Republic Services Inc., REMONDIS SE & Co. KG, Suez Environnement S.A., Sharps Compliance Inc., Waste Management Inc., Stericycle Inc., and Gamma Waste Systems. Bicycle Rim

A bicycle wheel is a wheel, most commonly a wire wheel, designed for a bicycle. A pair is often called a wheel set, especially in the context of ready built "off the shelf" performance-oriented wheels. Bicycle wheels are typically designed to fit into the frame and fork via dropouts, and hold bicycle tires. The first bicycle wheels followed the traditions of carriage building: a wooden hub, a fixed steel axle (the bearings were located in the fork ends), wooden spokes and a shrink fitted iron tire. A typical modern wheel has a metal hub, wire tension spokes and a metal or carbon fiber rim which holds a pneumatic rubber tire. The rim is the "outer edge of a wheel, holding the tire". It makes up the outer circular design of the wheel on which the inside edge of the tire is mounted on vehicles such as automobiles. For example, on a bicycle wheel the rim is a large hoop attached to the outer ends of the spokes of the wheel that holds the tire and tube. In cross-section, the rim is deep in the center and shallow at the outer edges, thus forming a "U" shape that supports for the bead of the tire casing. The regional demand dynamics of bicycle rims is directly correlated with the overall production and fleet of the bicycles. China is projected to dominate in terms of sales and is estimated to remain dominant in terms of demand for bicycle rims owing to increasing sales of bicycles. North America is expected to grow at significant CAGR during the forecast period in the bicycle rim market owing to increasing government regulations to support green transportation in the region.
