Also, the State welcomes private investment for comprehensive development of tea industry and capital subsidy is available for setting up tea processing units. Even as the state of Bihar is being talked of as the next big hope for agriculture sector in the country, this sector also remains the most crucial factor for the state economy.

GOVERNMENT POLICIES:

In India, agricultural trade policy is a part of a larger food and agriculture policy regime that seeks to maintain food self-sufficiency while providing income support to the agricultural sector and poor consumers. The Government of India (GOI) uses a variety of policy instruments in attempting to achieve these goals, including:

•        Domestic subsidies to inputs, outputs, transportation, storage, and consumption to reduce producer costs and consumer prices.

•        Border measures such as subsidies, tariffs, quotas, and non-tariff measures to protect domestic producers from import competition, manage domestic price levels, and guarantee domestic supply.

The National Policy on Agriculture seeks to actualise the vast untapped growth potential of Indian agriculture, strengthen rural infrastructure to support faster agricultural development, promote value addition, accelerate the growth of agro business, create employment in rural areas, secure a fair standard of living for the farmers and agricultural workers and their families, discourage migration to urban areas and face the challenges arising out of economic liberalization and globalisation. Over the next two decades, it aims to attain:

•        A growth rate in excess of 4 per cent per annum in the agriculture sector;

•        Growth that is based on efficient use of resources and conserves our soil, water and bio-diversity;

•        Growth with equity, i.e., growth which is widespread across regions and farmers;

•        Growth that is demand driven and caters to domestic markets and maximises benefits from exports of agricultural products in the face of the challenges arising from economic liberalization and globalisation;

•        Growth that is sustainable technologically, environmentally and economically.

The policy seeks to promote technically sound, economically viable, environmentally non-degrading, and socially acceptable use of country’s natural resources - land, water and genetic endowment to promote sustainable development of agriculture.

A brewery is a dedicated building for the making of beer, though beer can be made at home, and has been for much of beer's history. A company that makes beer is called either a brewery or a brewing company. The diversity of size in breweries is matched by the diversity of processes, degrees of automation, and kinds of beer produced in breweries. A brewery is typically divided into distinct sections, with each section reserved for one part of the brewing process. The Indian beer industry has been witnessing steady growth of 10 - 17% per year over the last ten years. The rate of growth has increased in recent years, with volumes passing 170m cases during the 2008-2009 financial year. With the average age of the population on the decrease and income levels on the increase, the popularity of beer in the country continues to rise.

RESOURCES:

Bihar is emerging as a brewery hub with major domestic and foreign firms setting up production units in the state due to availability of cheap labour and raw materials coupled with improved law and order and investment-friendly government policies. Beer consumption in domestic markets in Bihar has increased sharply in the last few years. Beer consumption in the state has risen 10 times in the past seven years. As per industry estimates, annual consumption is 700,000 cases. Nearly 70% of litchis manufactured in India come from Muzaffarpur and also the nearby districts. Lead Battery Recycling Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Economics, Production Schedule, Working Capital Requirement, Plant Layout, Process Flow Sheet, Cost of Project, Projected Balance Sheets, Profitability Ratios, Break Even Analysis Lead is a material very easy to recycle and, provided that adequate procedures are implemented; the ?nal product (secondary lead) is indistinguishable from the primary lead produced from ores. About 50% of the lead consumed worldwide is derived from recycled and reused materials. There are many different uses of Lead. It may be used as a pure metal, alloyed with other metals, or as chemical compounds. The recovery of metals from metal scrap has the advantage that it is easier and far less energy dependent than the production of primary lead from ores. The production of recycled lead requires 35–40% of the energy necessary to produce lead from ores. In addition, the recovery of lead decreases the lead dispersion in the environment and preserves the mineral reserves for the future. Recycling lead is relatively simple and in most of the applications where lead is used, such as lead-acid batteries, it is possible to recover it for use over and over again. Lead batteries industry in India is currently estimated at Rs. 40,000 crore with 60% automotive and 40% industrial. Over thousands of player continued recycling activity in India through recovery of lead from telecom, uninterrupted power supply (UPS), inverters, renewable energy and other related industries. Thus, due to demand it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest. Few Indian Major Players are as under: • Hindustan Zinc • SesaSterlite • Hindalco The demand for lead is expected to grow at 5 to 6%, driven by increasing demand for UPS battery segment as also from increasing market for replacement of batteries in the automobiles. The global market for lead has been witnessing noticeable growth on account of growing lead-acid battery consumption. In addition, the global demand is estimated to be significant in the coming years as capacity expansions and new operations boost supply at a faster rate than demand. It is used for mixing infant formula for babies, for people with compromised immune systems, and to dilute or dissolve water soluble drugs for injections. Sterile water is water that has no microorganisms living within it. As it cannot transfer pathogens, it is used mainly in the medical setting. Sterile water, though sometimes distilled, is not the same thing as distilled water. As some microorganisms can survive at high temperatures, simply boiling water may not be enough to sterilize it. Special, but not uncommon, equipment is required if one wishes to sterilize water. This kind of water is free of all microbial life. As sterilized water does not contain the same amount of dissolved salt as the human body, overhydration would occur if a physician used the water as an irrigation fluid during surgery or other invasive medical procedures. The value of sterile water is its ability to act as a solvent in many pharmacological compounds that physicians will eventually inject into patients. The water is also a tool in helping physician’s clean wounds without putting patients at risk for infection. Water that is sterile plays a large role in medical research. In many cases, water is necessary to study microorganisms. Using this water is required in these and other experiments as normal or even distilled water may introduce outside bacteria into the experiment. This contamination would invalidate all test results and put other experiments in the same laboratory at risk. Therefore, sterile water is the only acceptable water for laboratory research. The global intravenous solutions market will grow at a steady CAGR of almost 6% during the forecast period. Intravenous solutions have a complete mix of essential nutrients and help people suffering from conditions like diabetes and cancer to get the required nutrients. These fluids are very effective in treating electrolyte imbalances and replacing lost fluids. Products used in intravenous therapy are highly regulated by governments to ensure quality and constant availability to consumers. A wide variety of products, including antibiotics and medications, are used during intravenous therapy to treat patients. Growing incidence rate of chronic diseases, such as cancer, is also fueling the demand for Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), which forms a vital part of the treatment. Intravenous nutrition helps sustain strength, maintains hydration levels in patients, and facilitates faster recovery. Cancer prevalence is forecasted to grow by 70% over the next few decades. This poses a colossal growth prospect for the market. Profitable Business Ideas in Invert Sugar Syrup Manufacturing Industry

Profitable Business Ideas in Invert Sugar Syrup Manufacturing Industry. Production of Sweeteners (Inverted Sugar Syrup) The invert sugar syrups or invert sugars are chemically made up of a mixture of glucose and fructose. These products are known to have greater digestibility than the commonly used table sugar. Due to their unique properties, invert sugar syrups have been used extensively in the food and beverage industry. The appearance of the invert sugar syrups is transparent and sometimes yellow-brown and sticky consistency. The properties like providing extra sweetness, texturizing properties, etc. have provided an extra edge for invert syrup sugars over other natural sugars. They are also a potent substitutes for honey and sucrose. Uses & Application: Invert syrup is used to keep product moist, extending except able shell life of products. • It can be used to slow down the crystallization that may occur. • Thus the main uses of Invert sugar are in: Food and Confectionery Industry Bakeries & Biscuits - It can be used for carmellisation, enhancement of flavour and texture improvement. Bread, Cakes & Pastries - Invert sugar improves the quality of the crust and makes the bread crumb softer. Yeast activation also becomes faster. Fruit Processing - When used for fruit processing, invert sugar increases the shelf life due to good humectants properties. It also enhances taste and flavor. Honey - Invert sugar can be used for bee feeding and can be blended with honey. Chemically and physically it has the same properties as honey. Herbal Cosmetics - As invert sugar restricts bacterial activity and is a chemically purer replacement of honey, it can be used in herbal cosmetics. Squashes, lemonade and instant energy drinks - Because of the glucose and fructose content, invert sugar provides instant energy and better taste. Brewing Industry The cane sugar stresses the yeast when it is used in brewing and that's why invert sugar is used in brewing industry. It's a simple sugar and it can be broken down easily. Humectant Invert syrup has a high affinity for water, so invert syrup (a ‘humectants’) is often used to keep products moist and extend their shelf life. This additional moisture retention is especially important in low fat baked goods such as cakes, soft cookies and bread rolls, since these products can become dry and stale much quicker than their full fat counterparts. All inverted sugar syrups are created from hydrolysing sucrose to glucose (dextrose) and fructose by heating a sucrose solution, then relying on time alone, with the catalytic properties of an acid or enzymes used to speed the reaction. Commercially prepared acid catalysed solutions are neutralised when the desired level of inversion is reached. All constituent sugars (sucrose, glucose and fructose) support fermentation, so invert sugar solutions may be fermented as readily as sucrose solutions. Invert sugar has a lower water activity than that of sucrose, so it provides more powerful preserving qualities (a longer shelf life) to products that use it. The shelf life of partial inverts is approximately six months, depending on storage and climatic conditions. Crystallised invert sugar solutions may be restored to their liquid state by gently heating. Invert sugar syrup is now being used by over 200 units in India. This trend will continue to grow in coming years. The biggest benefit which Pharma industries get is that by purchasing it from external vendors there is a drastic reduction in their cost, a consistent quality and better utilization of resources. The reason Invert Sugar is added to syrups (like cough syrups) is mainly for flavour enhancement. It also gives a consistent viscosity and smoothness to the solution. Invert sugar is also known for enhancing shelf life of the products it’s mixed in, therefore it is an ideal mixing solution to neutralize the bitter flavour of medical drugs. With increasing awareness of medical treatment in India and a growing middle class, the need for medical treatments has gone up substantially. The new units find it impossible to manufacture everything in-house, and therefore depend on external quality vendors for lot of ingredients that they use, by doing this they can focus on their core competence of manufacturing drugs only and not worry about the itsy-bitsy things. The popularity of Invert Sugar has also been seen in industries like Bakery, Distillery and Honey Syrup manufacturers. On the basis of end use, invert sugar syrups market is segmented as food industry, beverage industry, personal care, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals and others. The others segment mostly includes the distilleries, tobacco and the feed industry. The food industry is further segmented as bakery, confectionary, frozen desserts, honey processing and others. The beverage industry is further segmented as fruit juices, energy drinks, soft drinks and others. The invert sugar syrups are mainly used for caramel and chocolate fillings and to enhance the quality of biscuit and cookie crusts. Due to its unique flavor and texturizing properties, developing niche confectionary products is a good opportunity for the growth of the invert sugar syrups market. The awareness amongst consumers that invert sugar syrups have been known to promote obesity may retard the growth of the invert sugar syrups market. The growing demand for other natural and artificial sweeteners may suppress the growth of the invert sugar syrups market. Hence, educational marketing regarding the unique benefits of the invert sugar syrups may retain its existing market share in the sweetener market. The inverted sugar syrup segment is expected to grow at a faster rate comparatively due to its extensive application in non-alcoholic refreshing beverages. The major producer of the invert sugar syrups market is Europe, owing to the presence of a large number of international companies. Europe remains one of the top exporters of the invert sugar syrups. The production and export of these products have also been dominated by countries like China and Indonesia due to the availability of raw materials and hence, Asia Pacific has also been an important contributor of the invert sugar syrups market. In the Asia Pacific, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines also have significant shares in the invert sugar syrups market. North America and Latin America exhibit a fairly steady growth over the forecast period. The consumption of maple syrup in this region has influenced the growth of the invert sugar syrups market. The Middle East and Africa region have shown a decline in the past decade and the growth of the invert sugar syrups market remains stagnant over the forecast period. Production of Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)

Production of Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid). L-Ascorbic Acid Manufacturing Business. Vitamin C (also known as ascorbic acid) is abundant in vegetables and fruits. A water-soluble vitamin and powerful antioxidant, it helps the body form and maintain connective tissue, including bones, blood vessels, and skin. Vitamin C is one of the safest and most effective nutrients. It may not be the cure for the common cold (though it's thought to help prevent more serious complications).
