Never the less, the low viscosity and high reactivity of furfural alcohol and the outstanding chemical, mechanical and thermal properties of its polymers have led to successful applications in other fields than the foundry. Furfural alcohol is produced by catalytic hydrogenation of furfural in a vapor or liquid phase using copper catalyst………………………………………….
