Based in Bhopal, the company had built its reputation in construction and understood firsthand what materials go into large-scale infrastructure projects. After screening multiple opportunities against the client's investment profile and regional advantages, HDPE pipes emerged as the strongest fit. The reasoning is grounded in where India's infrastructure spending is actually going. The Jal Jeevan Mission alone is pushing piped water connectivity to every rural household in the country. AMRUT and Smart Cities programmes are upgrading urban water and sewage networks. PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana is expanding drip and sprinkler irrigation across agricultural land. City gas distribution networks are growing. And construction activity — residential, commercial, industrial — continues to drive demand for utility piping across the board.

HDPE pipes sit at the intersection of all of it. They're the preferred choice for water supply, sewage, irrigation, gas networks, and industrial fluid transport because of their durability, chemical resistance, flexibility, and long service life. India's per capita plastic pipe consumption is still well below developed market levels, which means there's a long demand runway ahead, not a market approaching saturation.

The NPCS feasibility study covered the production process in full — from HDPE granule procurement and quality testing through extrusion, vacuum sizing, cooling, marking, cutting, and final quality inspection against BIS standards IS 4984 and IS 14333. Plant layout, machinery selection, capacity planning, and raw material sourcing from petrochemical suppliers were all assessed with Madhya Pradesh's supply chain landscape in mind.

The market for HDPE pipes is projected to grow at 8–12% CAGR, and the financial model reflected a business case that holds up well across different capacity utilisation scenarios. Payback period was assessed as aligned with standard norms for capital-intensive manufacturing, with stable multi-sector revenue providing resilience through market cycles.

After reviewing the complete feasibility study and DPR inputs, Vensar Constructions confirmed their decision to move forward with implementation.
