| Water has been called the universal solvent, because it dissolves many substances. With enough scale, the metal will overheat causing blisters, bags and eventually a ruptured pressure part. Scale can also increase the fuel consumption in boilers. Water hardness becomes an issue as soon as heat is applied in the boiler system. The most common problem is that of scale formation, a problem that will rob your system of the efficiency it was designed to deliver. Descaling and antiscaling chemicals provides the safest, most cost effective process to chemically remove scale, sugar, oil and other contaminants from equipment surface.
