Waste Management and Recycling, Industrial Waste Management, Agro Waste, Municipal Garbage, Plastic, Paper, Metal, Iron, Glass, Rubber, Electronic, Medical Waste Recycling, Solid Waste Treatment, Agricultural, Wood Waste, Residue Processing Projects

Waste management is the collection, transport, processing, recycling or disposal, and monitoring of waste materials. Concern over environment is being seen a massive increase in recycling globally which has grown to be an important part of modern civilization. The consumption habits of modern consumerist lifestyles are causing a huge global waste problem.  Industrialization and economic growth has produced more amounts of waste, including hazardous and toxic wastes. There is a growing realization of the negative impacts that wastes have had on the local environment (air, water, land, human health etc.)

Waste management is the collection of all thrown away materials in order to recycle them and as a result decrease their effects on our health, our surroundings and the environment and enhance the quality of life. Waste management practices differ for developed and developing nations, for urban and rural areas, and for residential and industrial producers. Waste Management flows in a cycle: monitoring, collection, transportation, processing, disposal or recycle. Through these steps a company can effectively and responsibly manage waste output and their positive effect they have on the environment.

Waste generation per capita has increased and is expected to continue to climb with growing population, wealth, and consumerism throughout the world. Approaches to solving this waste problem in a scalable and sustainable manner would lead us to a model that uses waste as an input in the production of commodities and value monetized, making waste management a true profit center. The conversion of waste as a potential source of energy has a value as a supplemental feedstock for the rapidly developing bio-fuels sector. A variety of new technologies are being used and developed for the production of biofuels which are capable of converting wastes into heat, power, fuels or chemical feedstock.

Thermal Technologies like gasification, pyrolysis, thermal Depolymerization, plasma arc gasification, and non–thermal technologies like anaerobic digestion, fermentation etc. are a number of new and emerging technologies that are able to produce energy from waste and other fuels without direct combustion. Biodegradable wastes are processed by composting, vermi-composting, anaerobic digestion or any other appropriate biological processing for the stabilization of wastes. Recycling of materials like plastics, paper and metals should be done for future use.

There is a clear need for the current approach of waste disposal in India that is focused on municipalities and uses high energy/high technology, to move more towards waste processing and waste recycling (that involves public-private partnerships, aiming for eventual waste minimization - driven at the community level, and using low energy/low technology resources.

BILLETS FROM STEEL SCRAP BY ELECTRIC FURNACE - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

Steel is the most widely used materials in a large variety of applications. Steel is one of the most recyclable material available-40% produced in the world is from recycling techniques. Carbon steel of many large cross-sections are used as structural steels while flats of steel corner the rest of the engineering uses hot rolled sheets & strips of steel are used in large qualities in various down stream industries for either fabrication methods. Under prevailing circumstances, India steel prices went up w.r.t. international prices. This high cost of steel production, in turn, affected the rate of consumption. Now, India per capita steel consumption is around at 19 kg. This is quite a low figure when compared with China (60 Kgs), USA (451.2 kgs), USSR (575 kg) & Japan (620kg.). The steel industry during the second half of 1980s has been moving towards capacity expansion & modernization. It is now being considered more beneficial than setting up green field capacities. The cost of modernization & expansion of an existing steel plant is much less expensive that setting up a green field.

Cellulose Powder from Cotton Linter (Waste of Cotton) - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Plant Layout

Cellulose is one of the most abundant organic compounds on earth. It is the main component of higher plant cell. Cellulose considered in three forms: powdered cellulose, regenerated cellulose casing, and micro crystalline cellulose. Microcrystalline cellulose powder is a very good product especially for tableting. However it is not a very good suspending agent and its dispersion settles down. It is a white, odourless, tasteless, extra free flowing powder which is relatively free from organic and non-organic contaminants. It is metabolically inert and has excellent water absorptive, swelling & dispersion properties. Micro-crystalline cellulose (MCC) imported into the United States from Brazil enters duty free under the GSP and does not therefore pay the 5.2% MFN duty rate. However, MCC exports to Brazil face a high tariff of 15.5%.

Rectified Spirit & Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA)- Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

A rectified spirit or rectified alcohol is highly concentrated ethanol (drinking alcohol) which has been purified by means of rectification (repeated distillation). It is used in mixed drinks, in the production of liqueurs, for medicinal purposes, and as a household solvent. Neutral grain spirits are rectified spirits made from grain. However, rectified spirits are also made from other kinds of plant material, most often from sugar beets or potatoes. Rectified spirits are illegal for non medical purposes in some nations (e.g., India), but they are legal in most industrialized nations. Until recently, they were banned in Canada. In India, Ethanol is produced by fermentation of sugars present in the Molasses using Yeast. 95.5% ethanol with 4.5% water mixture (Azeotropic Composition) called Rectified Spirit is produced from the fermented Molasses containing 7% to 8% Ethanol in simple Distillation Process. The rectified spirit is dehydrated to produce Absolute Ethanol( Fuel Ethanol) suitable for blending with petrol and Diesel. Dehydration of Rectified Spirit to produce Absolute Ethanol is done by one of the two routes either azeotropic distillation or pressure swing adsorption. In azeotropic distillation, held of another substances called entrain like hexane, is taken for removal of water. In pressure swing adsorption, water is removed by adsorbing on surface of molecular sieves and then cyclically removing it under different conditions. Extra Neutral Alcohol is used as volatile carriers in Flavour & Fragrances, potable liquor for human consumption.
