HYDRAZINE HYDRATE - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

Hydrazine N2H4, a colorless liquid having an ammoniacal odor, is the simplest diamine and unique in its class because of the NÀN bond. It was ?rst prepared in 1887 by Curtius as the sulfate salt from diazoacetic ester. Hydrazine and its simple methyl and dimethyl derivatives have endothermic heats of formation and high heats of combustion. Hence, these compounds are used as rocket fuels. Other derivatives are used as gas generators and explosives Hydrazine, a base slightly weaker than ammonia, forms a series of useful salts. As a strong reducing agent, hydrazine is used for corrosion control in boilers and hot-water heating systems; also for metal plating, reduction of noble-metal catalysts, and hydrogenation of unsaturated bonds in organic compounds. Hydrazine is also an oxidizing agent under suitable conditions. Having two active nucleophilic nitrogens and four replaceable hydrogens, hydrazine is the starting material for many derivatives, among them foaming agents for plastics, antioxidants, polymers, polymer cross-linkers and chain-extenders, as well as fungicides, and pharmaceuticals. Hydrazine is also a good ligand; numerous complexes have been studied. Many heterocyclics are based on hydrazine, where the rings contain from one to four nitrogen atoms as well as other heteroatoms. The many advantageous properties of hydrazine ensure continued commercial utility. Hydrazine is produced commercially primarily as aqueous solutions, typically 35, 51.2, 54.4, and 64 wt% N2H4 (54.7, 80, 85, and 100% hydrazine hydrate). Anhydrous hydrazine is produced for rocket propellant and limited commercial applications. Hydrazine is used in many processes including: production of spandex fibers, as a polymerization catalyst; a blowing agent; in fuel cells, solder, fluxes; and photographic developers, as a chain extender in urethane polymerizations, and heat stabilizers. In addition, a semiconductor deposition technique using hydrazine has recently been demonstrated, with possible application to the manufacture of thin-film transistors used in liquid crystal displays. Hydrazine in a 70% hydrazine, 30% water solution is used to power the EPU (emergency power unit) on the F-16 fighter plane. The explosive Astrolite is made by combining hydrazine with ammonium nitrate. Hydrazine hydrate is an organic chemical raw material with extensive applications. The world's capacity to produce hydrazine hydrate has reached more than 200 thousand t/a today (based on 100% hydrazine content). The capacity is divided nearly equally between Europe, Asia and America (35%, 34% and 30%, respectively), with only 1% in other regions. Major producers include Olin of the United States, Bayer of Germany, Ato of France and Mitsubishi Gas Chemical of Japan. The worldwide market demand for hydrazine hydrate is 80 to 90 thousand tons a year. Consumption is roughly 32% for pesticides, 33% for foaming agents, 20% for water treatment agents and 15% for others. Demand will grow steadily in future, with demand in advanced countries declining while demand in developing countries, Asian countries in particular, growing rapidly. There is a very good scope and market potential in this field and new entrepreneurs should venture into this sector.

Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF)- Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into woodfibres, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure.MDF is generally denser than plywood. It is made up of separated fibres, but can be used as a building material similar in application to plywood. It is stronger and much denser than particle board. It can be finished to a smooth surface and grain printed, eliminating the need for veneers and laminates. Most of the thicker MDF panels (1.27 to 1.91 centimeters [cm]) (1/2 to 3/4 inch [in.]) are used as core material in furniture panels. Medium density fiberboard panels thinner than 1.27 cm (1/2 in.) typically are used for siding. MDF does not contain knots or rings, making it more uniform than natural woods during cutting and in service. However, MDF is not entirely isotropic, since the fibres are pressed tightly together through the sheet. Typical MDF has a hard, flat, smooth surface that makes it ideal for veneering, as there is no underlying grain to telegraph through the thin veneer as with plywood. A so-called "Premium" MDF is available that features more uniform density throughout the thickness of the panel. MDF may be glued, doweled or laminated. Typical fasteners are T-nuts and pan-head machine screws. Smooth-shank nails do not hold well, and neither do fine-pitch screws, especially in the edge. Special screws are available with a coarse thread pitch, but sheet-metal screws also work well. Like natural wood, MDF may split when woodscrews are installed without pilot holes. Indian particle board and plywood industry dates back to the First World War. It has come a long way having grown nearly six-fold since its inception. The large producers account for 15% of the total production, producing some 38 mnsqm of plywood and block boards. There are several SSI units and other informal sector units contributing around 60% of the total production. The Indian market for particle board and plywood is estimated in value terms, at over Rs. 37 bn. Of the total market, particle board including medium density fibreboard (MDF board) accounts for nearly a quarter of the market. Nearly 85% of the particle board is supplied by the organized sector. Western India has emerged as the leader in the particle board segment. India organized furniture industry is estimated at around USD 8 bn and expected to grow at a CAGR of over 25% annually. Thus, due to demand it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest. Maize and It’s by Products Starch, Liquid Glucose, Dextrose, Sorbitol, Maltose, Gluten, Germ and Fiber)

Maize also known as corn is a cereal grain. Maize has become a staple food in many parts of the world, with total production surpassing that of wheat or rice. However, not all of this maize is consumed directly by humans. Some of the maize production is used for corn ethanol, animal feed and other maize products, such as corn starch and corn syrup. Maize is the starch derived from the corn (maize) grain. The starch is obtained from the endosperm of the kernel. D-Soribitol, CH2OH(CHOH)4CH2OH (D-glucitol, L-gulitol), is a hexahydric alcohol with a 6-carbon atom straight-chain that contains six hydroxyl groups, and has a molecular weight of 182.17. The germ, which constitutes 8-14% of the total weight of the corn grain, includes 84-86% of the total oil content of the corn. In India, maize is a kharif crop with harvests and arrivals due only from October onwards. Kharif contributes over 80 per cent of the entire maize output. Bulk of the maize produced in the country goes for production of poultry feed. It is estimated that the demand for maize from the poultry industry would rise by about 6 percent. About twelve states which include Maharashtra, Bihar, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi account for over 50 percent of the total maize acreage in the country.
