7-Aminocephalosporanic Acid (7-ACA)

Cephalosporins, a large group of ?-lactam antibiotics, contain a 7-aminocephalosporanic acid (7-ACA) nucleus which is derived from cephalosporin C, and substitutions of chemical groups or modifications of 7-ACA side-chains resulting in varying pharmacologic properties and antimicrobial activities, development of useful antibiotic agents, also. Cephalosporin C obtained by fungus fermentation can be transformed to 7-ACA by two-step or one step enzymatically conversion process. The most important step in 7-ACA downstream process is represented by its separation from enzymatically produced reaction mixture. Among the used methods new separation techniques have been developed and applied to bioseparations, like reactive extraction and pertraction which have considerable potential. 7-aminocephalosporanic acid is abbreviated as 7-ACA, white or almost white crystalline powder, 7-ACA is an important nucleus in synthesis of cephalosporin antibiotics, in the nucleus 7 and 3 chemical transformation can be used to prepare many cephalosporins: cefazolin sodium, cefotaxime sodium, ceftriaxone sodium, cefoperazone sodium, sodium ceftazidime, cefuroxime sodium. 7-Aminocephalosporanic Acid [chemically, 3-(Acetyloxy-methyl)-7-amino- 8-oxo-5-thia-1- azabicyclo (4.2.0) oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid] is the active nucleus for the synthesis of cephalosporins and intermediates. 7-ACA affect the antibacterial activity and can lead to the alteration of pharmacokinetic properties and receptor binding affinity, thus creating new class of cephalosporin antibiotics with important clinical uses. API market based on synthesis is further divided into synthetic API, Biotech API and HPAPI. Vinyl & Latex Surgical Gloves

A surgical (surgeon’s) glove is made of natural or synthetic rubber intended to be worn by operating room personnel to protect a surgical wound from contamination. Surgical gloves have more precise sizing (numbered sizing, generally from size 5.5 to size 9), and are made to higher specifications. They are hand specific. Due to the increasing rate of latex allergy among health professionals as well as in the general population, there has been an increasing move to gloves made of non-latex materials such as vinyl or Nitrile rubber. However, these gloves have not yet replaced latex gloves in surgical procedures, as gloves made of alternate materials generally do not fully match the fine control or greater sensitivity to touch available with latex surgical gloves. Vinyl Gloves are made from Poly Vinyl Chloride(PVC). Vinyl gloves are ideal for glove users sensitive to latex gloves and many childcare and foodservice establishments will use vinyl exam gloves. Vinyl gloves stretch to provide a relaxed and comfortable fit but they are not as stretchy or form-fitting as latex gloves or Nitrile gloves. Vinyl gloves are also the most affordable of all glove materials. Vinyl gloves are an economical alternative for applications where mechanical stress and barrier protection are of less importance. The skin-friendly material is suitable for users suffering from a latex or chemical allergy. The India disposable gloves market was valued at $303 million in 2017, and is expected to reach $760 million by 2025, growing at a CAGR of 12.4% during the forecast period. In terms of volume, the natural rubber gloves segment accounted for more than two-fifth of the total market share in 2017. The growth of disposable gloves market in India is driven by growing awareness about hygiene, disease prevention, and safety among the Indian populace coupled with surge in the number of end users. Moreover, technological advancements in manufacturing gloves and unprecedented growth of the healthcare sector are expected to provide lucrative opportunities to market players in the near future. However, limitations in production capacity and toxic reactions associated with the use of certain gloves are expected to impede the market growth. Increasing spending in the country’s medical sector is likely to drive product demand over the coming years. Asia Pacific is estimated to register a CAGR of 8.6% from 2018 to 2025 on account of the soaring use of the product in medical applications. Urea Fertilizer

Fertilizers provide three primary nutrients: Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). Nitrogen supports vegetative growth. Phosphorus improves roots and flowering. Potassium strengthens resistance to environmental assaults, from extreme temperatures to pest attacks. Urea is the most important nitrogenous fertilizer in the market, with the highest Nitrogen content (about 46 percent). It is a white crystalline organic chemical compound. Urea is neutral in pH and can adapt to almost all kinds of soils. It is a waste product formed naturally by metabolizing protein in humans as well as other mammals, amphibians and some fish. Urea is widely used in the agricultural sector both as a fertilizer and animal feed additive. Urea is usually spread at rates of between 40 and 300 kg/ha (35 to 270 lbs/acre) but rates vary. Smaller applications incur lower losses due to leaching. During summer, urea is often spread just before or during rain to minimize losses from volatilization (a process wherein nitrogen is lost to the atmosphere as ammonia gas). Urea and ammonia together account for over 50% of the total nitrogenous fertilizer market share in terms of both volume and revenue. Urea is also leading the product type segment in the market in terms of growth owing to its higher volume of consumption and affordable cost compared to the other products. It is majorly preferred for acidic soil for crops such as corn, strawberries, and blueberries. Growing health awareness globally has driven the demand for pulses owing to their dietary protein content. Pulses can convert and utilize the atmospheric nitrogen and hence consume less volume of fertilizers compared to the other crops. Both these crops have a demand-supply gap, as their annual yield does not meet the global requirement. These factors are anticipated to increase the usage of nitrogen fertilizers for the production of oilseeds & pulses, thus leading to an annual revenue growth rate of 5.1% from 2019 to 2025 in the market. Entrepreneurs who invest in this project will be successful.

Maize Starch

Maize also known as corn is a cereal grain. Maize has become a staple food in many parts of the world, with total production surpassing that of wheat or rice. However, not all of this maize is consumed directly by humans. Some of the maize production is used for corn ethanol, animal feed and other maize products, such as corn starch and corn syrup. The six major types of corn are dent corn, flint corn, pod corn, popcorn, flour corn, and sweet corn. Maize is grown in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Mysore, and Haryana. Starch is a group of polysaccharides, composed of glucopyranose units joined together by-glucosidric linkages. It conforms to the molecular formula, (C6-H10O5)n, where n varies from a few hundred to over one million. Starch is found as the reserve carbohydrate in various parts of plants and is enzymatic ally broken down to glucose to other carbohydrates according to the metabolic needs of the plants. Maize Starch exhibits all the properties of native starch with some special features such as non-foaming & non-thinning characteristics of boiling solution. Hence, maize starch has a marginal effect on the efficiency in weaving and paper industry. Where high viscosity starch is used, it imparts higher tensile strength to the fibre and thus improves the sizing. Maize starch has various direct and indirect uses in many industries. Maize starch has a low ash and protein. Our maize starch is extracted from Hybrid corn varieties, which are available near, by our plant. Maize starch is used in food, paper, Pharma and Textile industries. This is mainly because the area under kharif maize (2016-17) saw a jump to 84.26 lakh ha. There is a bearish trend in the global maize market due to over production in key maize growing countries led by US. Given the global scenario which hints a surplus production this year and assuming the normal kharif maize area, the Agricultural Market Intelligence Centre projected the prices of maize at kharif harvest period of 2017-18. India corn starch market is estimated to be valued at 1.37 Billion in 2018 and is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 3.9% during the forecast period 2019–2024. Corn Starch production in India is very fragmented since there are a large variety of producers or manufacturers with different production capacities. Oleoresin & Essential Oils of Spices (Ginger, Turmeric, Pepper & Red Chilies)

Ginger, Turmeric, Pepper & Red chilies are used for flavor, colour, aroma and preservation of food or beverages. Spices may be derived from many parts of the plant: bark, buds, flowers, fruits, leaves, rhizomes, roots, seeds, stigmas and styles or the entire plant tops. Spices are often dried and used in a processed but complete state. Another option is to prepare extracts such as essential oils by distilling the raw spice material (wet or dry), or to use solvents to extract oleoresins and other standardized products. India is the largest producer, consumer and exporter of spices and spice products in the world and produces more than 50 spices. India is also a big exporter of Chilli, turmeric, pepper and many other spices. The country also imports various spices to meet its local requirement of taste, as Indian dishes are incomplete without adding varieties of spices to them. Andhra Pradesh is the largest spice producing state in India. Gujarat, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are the other major spices producing states in India. Chilli is the major spice crop occupying about 29 percent of area under cultivation and contributing about 34 percent of total spices production in the country. Turmeric accounts for 14% of production and 6% of area. Seed spices contribute 17% of production and occupy 41% of area while pepper contributes 2% of production and occupies 9% of area of the total spices in the country. Oleoresin is commonly marketed as spice drops and contains the total pungency and flavor constituents of pepper. Oleoresin is produced by solvent extraction of pepper powder using a suitable organic solvent such as acetone, ethanol, ethyl acetate or ethylene dichloride. Either a one-stage or a two-stage process is employed for this. In the first case, the oil is recovered along with the resins by solvent extraction. The global oleoresins market is estimated to be valued at USD 1.2 billion in 2019 and is projected to reach USD 1.7 billion by 2025, recording a CAGR of 6.0% from 2019 to 2025. Oleoresins are botanical extracts of essential oils and resin constituents. They form the flavor and aromatic profile of the plant from which they are extracted. Oleoresins are volatile or non-volatile compounds obtained from spices using solvents. They prove to be more shelf-stable than the whole spice and can be custom-made to suit the requirements of the buyers. They are mainly used in processed foods such as soups, sauces, dressings, cheeses, chutneys, confectionery products, snacks, processed meat & seafood, baked food, processed vegetables, other dairy products, and beverages.
