The tyre retreading industry<\/span> is experiencing<\/span> growth<\/span> within<\/span> the automotive and manufacturing sectors<\/span>. Tyre retreading involves<\/span> refurbishing<\/span> used tyres with<\/span> a new tread redeployed<\/span> onto<\/span> the<\/span> existing<\/span> casing<\/span>.<\/span> Retreading<\/span> tyres<\/span> have<\/span> multiple<\/span> advantages<\/span> including extending the life of the tyre, responsible<\/span> savings<\/span>, and responsible<\/span> considerations<\/span> for<\/span> the environment. An organization or fleet operator can expect to save up to 50 percent the cost of purchasing<\/span> a new tyre.<\/p>\n

In<\/span> addition<\/span>, retreads<\/span>,<\/span> as<\/span> they<\/span> are<\/span> referred<\/span> to<\/span> informally<\/span>,<\/span> also<\/span> minimize<\/span> reliance<\/span> on<\/span> new virgin<\/span> resources<\/span>, so<\/span> there<\/span> is<\/span> considered<\/span> to<\/span> be<\/span> a net resource<\/span> savings of<\/span> virgin<\/span> raw<\/span> materials<\/span> such as rubber, carbon black and steel, as<\/span> well<\/span> as<\/span> limiting<\/span> industrial waste. In this context<\/span>, since<\/span> new processing technology allows retreaded tyre<\/span> to perform<\/span> similarly<\/span> to<\/span> a new tyre in regular<\/span> use, this<\/span> is<\/span> a safe,<\/span> proven commercial,<\/span> and industrial tyre option.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
