Due to circulation of air in a room, the cooling rate increases and we feel cool and less suffocation. When the air is circulated, air comes from other place and due to this the room becomes cool. The fan consists of a rotating arrangement of vanes or blades which act on the air. Unlike air conditioners, fans only move air, they do not directly change its temperature. Therefore ceiling fans that have a mechanism for reversing the direction in which the blades rotate (most commonly an electrical switch on the side of the unit) can help in both heating and cooling. An electrical switch is a commonly used device for making, breaking, or changing the course of an electric circuit. There are different types of electrical switches being manufactured for use in different applications.
